JAVP on Windows is a portable-friendly player for playlists and libraries you already run. Install from the Microsoft Store, or grab the x64 installer or zip from updater.javp.app, add M3U/Xtream or connect Jellyfin, Emby or Plex, and keep watching without a JAVP account.
Install
Microsoft Store, or unzip and go.
The Store is the easy Windows path - Microsoft signs it and ships updates. Prefer a single folder you can move between PCs? Use the portable zip. Prefer Start Menu shortcuts without a Store account? Run the installer. Either way, add your own source first.
- Microsoft Store - install from the Store; updates come from the Store, not Settings → Updates.
- Installer or portable zip - run setup, or extract and launch javp.exe from anywhere writable.
- IPTV on the desktop - EPG, catch-up and recordings from playlists you add.
- Jellyfin, Emby and Plex clients in the same shell as Live TV.
- libmpv hardware decoding - subtitles, audio tracks and a keyboard-friendly UI.
- Sideload updates - installer and zip check Settings → Updates; SHA-256 for every file is in latest.json.

Is there a Microsoft Store build?
Yes. Install from the Microsoft Store, or grab the installer / portable zip from updater.javp.app. Store installs update through the Store; sideload builds update from Settings → Updates.
Does the Windows build include IPTV channels?
No. Bring an M3U or Xtream playlist you have the right to use, or connect a library you host.
Portable vs installer?
Both are x64. The installer registers shortcuts; the zip is a folder with javp.exe you can put anywhere writable.
